Montco lottery ticket wins $600K

Someone in Montgomery County bought a Cash 5 ticket that's now worth $600,000.

The ticket matched all five numbers in Wednesday's drawing (7, 12, 21, 23 and 38) to win the jackpot.

The winning ticket was purchased in East Norriton, at Ana's Corner Store, 3310 N. Wales Road, Pennsylvania Lottery officials said. The shop gets a $5,000 bonus.

The winner has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize.

In other lottery news, both the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots are on the rise for this weekend after no one won this week.

The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions game stands at $92 million for the annuity, or $63 million for the cash option. Powerball's top prize for Saturday's game is up to $170 million, or $118.1 million cash.
