Wynnewood man killed, family critical, following Indiana crash

A Montgomery County man was killed and his family left in “very critical condition” following a fiery crash on Sunday in Indiana.

Jeremy Valentine, 39, of Wynnewood was driving his Mazda minivan southbound on Route 13 in North Webster when a northbound pickup truck crossed the center median about 3:20 p.m., according to the Goshen (Indiana) News.

Fumes from the pickup’s diesel fuel tank ignited, causing the truck to catch fire, police told the website.

Valentine was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife Seana, 38, a 9-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son were airlifted to a hospital in Fort Wayne.

The driver of the pickup truck, Matthew Wagoner, 29 and his two children ages 2 and 5, were also airlifted to a local hospital.
