Styx, Foreigner tour buses catch fire near Penn's Landing

Two unoccupied tour buses caught fire shortly after noon near Penn's Landing, fire officials said.

According to TMZ, the buses were hired to transport crew supporting the classic rock bands Styx and Foreigner.

No injuries were reported at the scene, a parking lot on the 100 block of Callowhill Street. Officials had no immediate explanation of what caused the adjacent blazes.

The fires were reported at 12:24 p.m. and placed under control less than 20 minutes later, a spokeswoman said.

The bands are scheduled to play Thursday night at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden. It's been a long while since either burned up the charts. Foreigner is best known for its hits "Hot Blooded"(1978) "Urgent"(1981) and "I Want to Know What Love Is" (1984). Styx had several hits with "Lady" (1974), "Come Sail Away" (1977), "Babe" (1979) and "Mr. Roboto" (1984).
