Man stabbed to death in Overbrook home

A man was killed Thursday morning after he was stabbed inside an Overbrook home.

Police said the victim, 30, was stabbed multiple times in his chest and arms inside the home on the 5400 block of Arlington Street shortly after 10 a.m.

Medics rushed him to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he died about a half-hour later. His identity was not released.

Police described the suspect as a known doer, but no arrest had been reported Thursday. No weapon was recovered, and a possible motive for the crime was not disclosed.
