Jackpot-winning lottery ticket sold in Northeast Philly

A Cash 5 lottery ticket worth $450,000 was sold at PJP Marketplace on Adams Avenue in the Crescentville section of Northeast Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced.

A Cash 5 ticket sold at a restaurant supply store in the Crescentville section of Northeast Philadelphia won the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced.

The ticket, sold at PJP Marketplace at 537 Adams Ave., correctly matched all five balls, 08-12-13-20-22, to net a prize of $450,000, less 25 percent federal withholding.

The prize must be claimed and the ticket validated before the winner can be identified, lottery officials said. The holder has one year from the date of the drawing to come forward.

The holder of any jackpot-winning lottery ticket is advised to immediately sign the back, call the lottery at 717-702-8146, and file a claim at any of the lottery's seven area offices, or at its Middletown, Pa. headquarters.

The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
