'Gucci Prada' pleads to sex trafficking of a minor

He was born Christian Dior Womack but was known on the street as "Gucci Prada."

After he is sentenced in federal court, for the next 15 years he'll be known by his inmate number.

Womack, 30, pleaded guilty today to sex trafficking of a minor and sex trafficking by force. Womack, of Chester, admitted that he operated a prostitution venture in Philadelphia that used the Internet to recruit young females. One of them was a minor. According to prosecutors, Womack used physical violence and threats of physical harm to ensure the women's continued participation.

Charged along with Womack was Rashidah Brice, 24, who previously pleaded guilty to similar charges for  "advertising the women as available for purchase for the purposes of prostitution," according to a statement issued by U.S. Attorney General Zane Memeger. A sentencing hearing for Brice is scheduled for Aug. 21.

Womack and Brice both face a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
