West Conshohocken police on Monday said that a 22-year-old man found unresponsive Sunday in a home on the 200 block of Moorehead Avenue died of a possible drug overdose.

West Conshohocken police on Monday said that a 22-year-old man found unresponsive Sunday in a home on the 200 block of Moorehead Avenue died of a possible drug overdose.

The victim, whose name was not released, was identified by police as a Cabrini College student.

On Sunday, police found the victim on a couch in the living room. They immediately performed CPR, police said in a statement, and administered Naloxone, which is used to treat drug overdoses in emergencies. Police said the student remained unresponsive even after two ambulance companies arrived and tried to revive him as well.

Police Chief Michael Sinclair said in the statement that the investigation is continuing into the student's death. The cause of death was pending an autopsy by the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.

West Conshohocken Borough Mayor Joseph Pignoli said Sunday that the home where the student was found is a rental property occupied by college-age residents.

In a statement Monday, Cabrini College in Radnor said: "Cabrini has been informed of the death of one of our students, but we have no details at this time. We are saddened by the news, and our thoughts are with the student's family as we focus on supporting our community through this loss."
