Man, 49, gunned down in West Philadelphia
A 49-year-old man died about 20 minutes after being shot late Monday afternoon in West Philadelphia, police said. The man, whose name was not released, was shot once in the left torso just before 5:15 p.m. in the area of 62nd and Arch Streets. Police took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced at 5:36 p.m. Police reported no arrests. - Robert Moran
