Philadelphia police said the victim in the first case, a 21-year-old man, was carjacked as he left a corner store at 10th Street and Susquehanna Avenue at about 12:35 a.m. Thursday.

The assailants, one armed with a handgun, tried to force the man into his 2005 Cadillac CTS.

The victim refused, and the suspects then forced him to the ground and took his keys and cell phone.

The pair fled in the vehicle, which has the New Jersey tag D80-EBK.

Police on Friday released surveillance footage of the suspects from inside and outside the corner store.
