Stabbing victim's tag shop burglarized

Less than 48 hours after a 62-year-old Southwest Philadelphia business owner was stabbed more than 20 times in an attempted robbery, his store was burglarized, police said.

Less than 48 hours after a 62-year-old Southwest Philadelphia business owner was stabbed more than 20 times in an attempted robbery, his store was burglarized, police said.

Southwest Auto Tag Service, located in the 6200 block of Dicks Avenue, was left in "complete disarray" sometime before noon Saturday, police said. They did not report if anything was taken.

Owner Patrick Spinosa was attacked in the store Thursday evening. He was stabbed numerous times in the head, neck, and chest, and remains in critical condition at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, police said.
