FBI seeks Eagles-cap-wearing bank robber

Authorities are looking for the man who robbed a Center City bank Wednesday morning.

The FBI said the man gave a teller at the Republic Bank branch at 1601 Walnut St. a demand note at about 10 a.m.

He fled south on 16th Street after obtaining cash. The FBI didn't say how much money the robber got.

The suspect was described as a white man, about 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and having a thin build and mustache. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, silver shorts, a green Eagles hat and sunglasses. The man was carrying a blue-gray backpack with black and green trim.
