Bucks man charged with killing girlfriend

A 29-year-old Bucks County man was charged Monday with killing his girlfriend, according to police.

Investigators said Dilara Ozen, 25, was found dead around 10 a.m. by her mother in the bathroom at the Berkeley Trace Apartment complex on Bensalem Boulevard in Bensalem Township. Police said "foul play was apparent" but declined to elaborate. They also said that Ozen's boyfriend, Andrew Messner, was inside the apartment at the time.

Messner had been charged in May with assault and disorderly conduct, according to court papers, and there was a warrant out for his arrest after he failed to show up for trial in July. The details of the incident were not immediately available, and a prosecutor involved in that case declined to comment.
