Man found slain in Francisville apartment

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found slain in a Francisville apartment overnight.

Officers were called to the scene on Poplar Street near 15th Street at about 1 a.m. Thursday

A man was found shot to death inside, police said.

No arrests have been made and police had no description of any suspects.

Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters at the scene there was a strong odor of marijuana in the residence, and investigators were probing whether the killing was drug-related.

Police didn't immediately identify the victim.
