Two men and a woman were wounded in a drive-by shooting Monday evening in the city's Kensington section, police said.
About 6:10 p.m., a man fired shots, possibly from an assault rifle, from the sunroof of a gold-colored minivan in the 2800 block of Boudinot Street, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
A 22-year-old woman was shot four times in the abdomen, police said. A 33-year-old man was shot once in the right thigh. A 25-year-old man was shot in the right foot.
Police transported the victims to Temple University Hospital, where all three were listed in stable condition.
Small said at least nine shell casings from two different-caliber guns were found at the scene, so it is unclear whether the gunman had two weapons or a second shooter opened fire.
The victims were gathered outside the front of a house when the gunfire erupted. The minivan was last seen heading north on Boudinot.
Police were checking several nearby surveillance cameras to see if any recorded the shooting.
