Full service restored on SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale service

Service on SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Line was briefly suspended Friday between the Thorndale and Malvern Stations after a tree fell and took out overhead power lines.

Service on SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Line was briefly suspended Friday between the Thorndale and Malvern Stations after a tree fell and took out overhead power lines.

SEPTA reported full service had resumed just before 7 a.m., a half-hour after it was suspended between the two stations.

Trees felled by Tuesday's fierce line of thunderstorms continue to be a problem for NJ Transit's Atlantic City Rail Line.

Service between the resort and 30th Street station remained suspended for a third day while crews remove debris from the tracks.

NJ Transit is operating buses instead between Atlantic City and the Philadelphia station.
