Trials to take place at new center

DOYLESTOWN Trials will have a new home in Bucks County starting Monday.

After 55 years at the county courthouse, judicial proceedings will take place at the new $85 million justice center, Bucks District Attorney David Heckler said last week.

The seven-story building, which opened this month, is gradually filling up.

The District Attorney's Office was one of several county departments to move to the new building.

Don Tollefson's trial was the last to be held at the old courthouse, Heckler said.

When the new justice center is fully occupied, the old courthouse will be used as county office space.
