Business 'boot camp' set for next Wednesday

LANGHORNE U.S. Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick (R., Pa.) is scheduled to hold an event for small businesses and employers in Montgomery and Bucks Counties interested in learning about economic trends and available federal resources, he announced Tuesday.

The "Small Business Boot Camp" is to be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at Cairn University in Langhorne and will have speakers, presentations, and question-and-answer time with expert panels, Fitzpatrick said.

"Supporting our region's small businesses is critical to growing a healthy economy that creates better jobs and more opportunity," Fitzpatrick said in a statement.

Fitzpatrick said that representatives from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, U.S. Census Bureau, Small Business Administration, and Bucks County International Trade Council will make presentations.
