Peter Grosslight | Veteran music agent, 68

Peter Grosslight, 68, a longtime Los Angeles music agent, died Thursday of pancreatic cancer. The William Morris Agency announced the death of its global head of music.

Mr. Grosslight had worked at William Morris since 1992, when the agency acquired the company he had founded 20 years earlier. He represented artists such as Whitney Houston, the Eagles, Tom Petty, and Journey. He specialized in international bookings of contemporary artists and worked with Joan Baez, Carly Simon, Luis Miguel, and Brian Setzer, among others.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, and their two children. - AP
