Final Bucks waste collection day is Saturday


Final hazardous waste collection day is Saturday

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP The county's final household hazardous waste and electronics collection of the year is scheduled for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, at Bucks County Technical High School, 610 Wistar Rd.

Old computers, peripherals, small appliances, and up to 25 gallons or 220 pounds of hazardous products may be discarded.

Among the items that may be collected are household batteries (button type, lithium and rechargeable), lead-acid batteries (for car, marine, and motorcycle) and flammables (oil-based paint, spot removers, gasoline, kerosene, and gas/oil mixture).

Not to be discarded at this site are latex paint, asbestos, biological waste, explosives, gas cylinders, and regular alkaline household batteries.
