Free park admission for military personnel

WASHINGTON CROSSING Washington Crossing Historic Park is offering free admission this summer to active-duty U.S. military personnel and their families. Admission includes free tours of the park as well as an 18th century home that was used as a field hospital during the Revolutionary War and nearby Bowman's Hill Tower.

The offer is part of the national Blue Star Museums program that offers free admission to museums and parks throughout the region and nation. The program is administered through the National Endowment for the Arts, the Department of Defense, and Blue Star Families, a group that supports service members.

Tours of Washington Crossing Historic Park are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day through Labor Day. Free admission is available to active duty U.S. military, including the Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserve, the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members.
