ASTON The Bacon brothers, Kevin and Michael, have been writing songs and playing music together since they were children.
In fact, the cover of their first album, Forosoco, features a photograph of them together onstage, taken in 1972, with Kevin playing the congas, and Michael playing the guitar.
However, the two have only been together as a working band since 1995. But, between Kevin's award-winning acting career and Michael's noted work as a film and television composer, the duo has produced four studio releases and one live album.
On their present "The No Food Jokes Tour," the Bacon Brothers are scheduled to play at the Sun Center Studios Back Lot Stage, 63 Concord Rd., Friday night at 7:30 p.m. For more information, go to www.baconbros.com or call 610-492-7722.
