Bucks fashion show set to benefit rescued animals

DOYLESTOWN The James A. Michener Art Museum will be the setting for the 2014 Canines on the Catwalk Designer Fashion Show benefiting Animal Lifeline from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday.

The event will consist of a cocktail hour from 6 to 7 p.m., the fashion show, and a seated dinner to follow. The show will feature the work of several fashion designers - including Pamela Ptak, Megan Swansen, Asos Damisi, and Amanda Wright - and the models will walk on the runway with rescued animals that will be available for adoption.

All proceeds from the event will go to the rescue efforts of Animal Lifeline to save local animals. Animal Lifeline is a nonprofit organization that provides local and national animal rescue and transport, disaster response, shelter and rescue rehabilitation, human education, adoption, and local spay/neuter and food programs.
