Nussbaum to speak at Villanova
VILLANOVA Susan Nussbaum, author of Good Kings, Bad Kings, this year's One Book Villanova University selection, will be on campus Tuesday.
The award-winning novel describes the lives of teens living in an institution for juveniles with disabilities. It gives readers a look at what living with a disability can be like though the eyes of the characters.
At 1:30 p.m. Nussbaum will sign books in the Falvey Memorial Library's Speakers' Corner. A dinner, honoring the author, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. will be at Dougherty Hall. Tickets are available online at villanovatix.com or at the door. At 7:30 p.m., Nussbaum will give a presentation in the Villanova Room of the Connelly Center. Tickets are not required.
