4-alarm apartment complex fire leaves 30 homeless in Bucks

Thirty people have been displaced by a four-alarm fire that ripped through a building at the Windsor at Harper's Crossing apartment complex in Middletown Township, Bucks County.At least five firefighters required treatment for nonlife threatening injuries suffered battling the blaze at the complex near Route 1 and I-95, officials said. The fire erupted about 10:15 p.m. Sunday and it took more than 100 firefighters nearly 2 1/2 hours to bring it under control.

The fire erupted about 10:15 p.m. Sunday and it took more than 100 firefighters nearly 2 1/2 hours to bring it under control.

Investigators reportedly are looking into the possibility lightning sparked the raging fire.

The Red Cross said 30 residents were displaced by the fire. Most had other places to go, but the Red Cross said it was providing shelter to three people.
