A 19-year-old Wayne man was arrested Thursday and charged with using Facebook photos of four young females to create pornography that he reposted online, police said.

Radnor police identified the man as Neil Geckle of Morningside Circle. He was accused of child pornography, creating and disseminating obscene material, and use of a computer toward that end.

On Feb. 29 three juveniles and an 18-year-old woman told Radnor investigators that someone had used photographs from their Facebook pages to fashion illicit material that was reposted back on their Facebook pages. They were able to show police the original and altered versions of the photos.

Radnor police and investigators from the Internet Crimes Against Children unit of the Delaware County District Attorney's Office were able to develop Geckle as a suspect, and bolstered the case with evidence obtained through a search warrant.

When confronted, Geckle confessed, Radnor police said.

Geckle turned himself in to detectives Thursday. He was arraigned before a district judge who set bail at $100,000 and was being held at the county prison.
