A Methodist pastor faces charges related to accusations that he exposed himself to two women, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.

Rick Rogers, who turned 46 yesterday, was senior pastor at Jarrettown United Methodist Church in Dresher until Monday, when he stepped down.

That's the day he was arrested by Upper Dublin police and charged with two counts each of indecent exposure, open lewdness, disorderly conduct and harassment, according to court records.

Both incidents involved women with the Dresher School of Music, which rents space at the church.

In February, one of the women passed Rogers in a hall as she went to heat coffee in a microwave. As she returned, she saw Rogers "standing in a doorway . . . completely naked from the waist down," according to the criminal complaint.

He was "completely exposed" and "posing," the woman said.

On May 18, a music-school employee was walking down a hallway after getting a drink of water, when she saw Rogers "standing in the doorway of the men's room . . . totally naked from the waist down, with his pants around his ankles, posing with legs apart."

The church began investigating after learning in May of the complaints against Rogers, and placed him on temporary leave June 1.

Upper Darby police are looking for a man who robbed a bank of $20,000 in 15 seconds Tuesday without saying a word.

The man entered the Bank of America branch about 2 p.m. armed with a knife, police said.

He jumped on top of the cashier's counter, said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood.

Without a word, he put down his knife and grabbed two stacks of money totaling $20,000 that a cashier was counting, police said.

He then fled and jumped into a green Honda Civic. Chitwood said the robber was in the bank for about 15 seconds.

The robber is described as a white man between 5 feet 5 and 5 feet 11, in his late 20s or early 30s.

He was wearing a Phillies baseball cap, sunglasses and white latex gloves. Police said he left his knife behind and they are testing it for DNA.

Tipsters are asked to call Upper Darby Police at 610-734-7684.

Police have released a composite of the man wanted in last week's rape in Pennypack Park.

The suspect is described as a thin, white male between 25 and 35 and about 5 feet 9.

He has a light complexion, short reddish-brown hair and a close-cut mustache and beard, according to the Special Victims Unit.

Police gave this account of the rape, which happened about 2:30 a.m. Aug. 3: A 24-year-old woman was walking along Torresdale Avenue near Longshore when the suspect approached her driving a newer-model white pickup truck with a ladder and ladder racks.

He engaged her in conversation and offered her a ride home, which she accepted.

He then drove her to the park, where he pulled her from the truck and sexually assaulted her.

Police said a 26-year-old woman reported a physical assault on July 16 on Cresco Avenue near Rhawn Street and gave a similar description of her attacker and his vehicle.
