Delco man pleads guilty in fire that killed son

The Clifton Heights man who was asleep on his couch with heroin nearby when a house fire broke out and killed his young son pleaded guilty yesterday in Delaware County Court. Thomas Pierce, 33, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, possession with intent to deliver, endangering the welfare of children, and recklessly endangering other persons.   - Mari A. Schaefer
