Reward in death of dogs in Chesco now $25,000

The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever shot two pet dogs in Chester County has increased to $25,000, Rich Britton, spokesman for the Chester County SPCA, said yesterday.

The dogs - a German shorthaired pointer and a mix of the same breed - had been reported missing Sunday from a farm in Pocopson Township. The animals were found later in the day, Britton said. Investigators would like to talk to the owner of a dark-red Ford F-150 pickup truck with a cap, which was parked along Brintons Bridge Road that afternoon, near where the dogs' bodies were found. If you have information, call the CCSPCA at 610-692-6113, Ext. 213. - Kathleen Brady Shea

In response to Bushisgood - reward not this high for humans that is because shooting these dogs was like putting a gun to the head of a two year old...you want that kind of dangerous offender running the streets...try to look a little farther than the end of your nose.
