Bryn Athyn College on Friday will inaugurate its first president in its 132-year history.
Christopher M. Clark, a Philadelphia native with 35 years' experience in higher education, will head the small, coed Christian liberal arts college in eastern Montgomery County. Clark has worked at Stanford University, the University of Delaware, Michigan State University, and Arizona State University.
The decision to hire a president follows large enrollment growth; enrollment is projected to increase 25 percent for the 2010-11 academic year, officials said. The school currently enrolls 190 students. - Susan Snyder
