Her car rams building

A woman driving south on 15th Street about 4 a.m. yesterday, crashed into the back of the Daily News/Inquirer building at Callowhill Street. The unidentified woman, taken to Hahnemann University Hospital with undisclosed injuries, had been driving at a high rate of speed, said 9th District Sgt. Thomas Staunton. She was not charged, he said.

Fire victim is identified

A Philadelphia man who died Friday in a Kensington fire that he allegedly set in a convenience store has been identified as Joseph Henry Zeallor, 36.

Jeff Moran, spokesman for the city Department of Health, said Zeallor died of smoke inhalation.

Police said the man ran into a Quik Mart on Kensington Avenue near Orleans Street about 4:30 p.m., rushed downstairs, then set fire to the basement.

Festival in Schwenksville

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Limerick will hold its first Summer Community Festival Thursday through Saturday at Swamp Pike and Nieffer Road, Schwenksville.

The festival, planned as an annual event, will include rides, games and live music.

SEPTA aides to visit Delco

SEPTA officials will attend tomorrow's Delaware County Council meeting to outline $50 million in renovations to its facilities in the county, being funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The officials will present a display and details on 14 projects that will start next month in the county. They will explain the improvements and the temporary disruptions that will take place while lines are being revitalized.
