Missing Delaware boy found with father in N.J.

A 5-year-old Delaware boy, missing since Saturday, was found early yesterday morning in a Burlington County hotel room, police said.

Zion Duprey was found unharmed with his father, Angel Duprey, 30, of Philadelphia, at 1:10 a.m. at the Westin Hotel in Mount Laurel. They were with a 21-year-old woman, Bessie Rivera.

Angel Duprey and Rivera were arrested with an undisclosed amount of PCP-laced marijuana and unauthorized prescription drugs in their possession, police said. Duprey has been charged with interference with custody, possession of drugs with intent to distribute, and being a fugitive, according to Mount Laurel police. Rivera was charged with drug possession.

An Amber Alert was issued for Zion after his father allegedly entered the Lincoln, Del., home of the boy's mother and grandmother and abducted his son. The father had an active protection-from-abuse order, issued in Pennsylvania on June 19, that prohibited him from contact with Zion's mother and their three children. - Wallace McKelvey
