Police last night were investigating a double-fatal crash involving a Lamborghini and two other vehicles on Essington Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.
Police said the accident happened about 6:25 p.m. on the 7700 block of Essington. The Lamborghini, heading south on Essington at a high rate of speed, went into the northbound lanes and crashed with a Plymouth Voyager, then was hit by a Subaru Outback.
The drivers of the other two vehicles were OK, police said. The two men in the Lamborghini, the 29-year-old driver and his 54-year-old passenger, were declared dead at the scene. Their names were not released. - Traver Riggins
