A Bucks County man has been indicted in five bank robberies that date to September 2006, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced yesterday.
A grand jury charged Anthony F. DiPietro, 41, of Southampton, with robbing Citizens Bank, 1881 Street Rd., Bensalem, on Sept. 14, 2006; First Service Bank, 2460 Bristol Rd., Bensalem, on Jan. 29, 2007; Willow Financial Bank, 761 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, on July 25; Univest Bank, 40 E. Street Rd., Feasterville, on Sept. 18; and Citibank, 620 Commerce Blvd., Fairless Hills, on Oct. 8. On several occasions he used a .25-caliber Taurus pistol, according to the indictment. - Inquirer staff
