Argument in W. Phila. bar led to slaying, police say

A 20-year-old man was shot dead early yesterday following an argument in a West Philadelphia bar, police said.

Detectives were seeking the gunman in the slaying of Brandon Reaves.

Police said Reaves was shot in the head about 12:30 a.m. at the Corral Bar on West Market Street near 52d Street. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene 10 minutes later, police said. He was the 28th homicide victim of the year.
