University of Pennsylvania tops 'billionaire alumni' list

The University of Pennsylvania has more billionaire undergraduate alumni than any other college, according to the Wealth-X and UBS Billionaire Census 2014.

A total of 25 billionaires hold bachelor's degrees from Penn, states the report, compiled by self-described "ultra high net worth" researchers and analysts.

Harvard University ranked second, with 22 billionaire undergraduate alumni, followed by Yale University, with 20, and the University of Southern California, with 16.

Perhaps most surprisingly, 35 percent of the world's billionaires do not hold university degrees, according to the findings, which peg the global billionaire population at 2,325, a 7 percent increase from 2013.

The top 20 schools with the most billionaire undergraduates, according to the census, are:
