SEPTA: Widespread Regional Rail delays today

There have been widespread delays today on SEPTA's Regional Rail system.

The transit agency says many trains are experiencing delays of 10 or more minutes due to weather-related issues. This morning, a number of trains saw delays of 30 to 45 minutes.

Delays have been reported on a number routes, including the Airport, Chestnut Hill East, Fox Chase, Lansdale-Doylestown, Manayunk-Norristown, Media-Elwyn, Paoli-Thorndale, Warminster, West Trenton and Wilmington-Newark lines.

SEPTA is providing information and updates on its website, SEPTA.org, and Twitter feeds, @SEPTA and @SEPTA_SOCIAL. Updates on individual Regional Rail lines can be found each route's Twitter feed.

SEPTA was also warning riders to be careful at station platforms and on vehicles because floors may be wet. Parking lots may also be icy, and the transit agency said work to clear the lots and platforms was continuing this morning.
