No SEPTA trolley service in Center City on Sunday

There will be no SEPTA trolley service in Center City on Sunday.

The transit agency says that a routine maintenance project will close the trolley tunnel in Center City from 5 a.m. Sunday through 5 a.m. Monday.

Service on trolley routes 11, 13, 34 and 36 will begin and end at 40th and Market streets. Route 10 service will begin and end at 40th and Filbert streets.

SEPTA says riders should use the Market-Frankford subway line for travel to and from Center City.

In other SEPTA weekend news, train schedules on Manayunk-Norristown Regional Rail line will be adjusted on Saturday due to a bridge timber replacement.

Most inbound trains toward will depart from Elm Street 11 minutes later than normal, and arrive in Center City 16 minutes later than usual. Most outbound trains will depart at the regular times, but will arrive in Norristown up to 13 minutes later than normal.
