Market Street reopens, most SEPTA detours end near building collapse site

Market Street reopened this morning near the site of Wednesday's deadly building collapse, and some SEPTA detours have ended.

While Market Street is now open, Philadelphia police say the 2100 block of Ludlow Street and the unit block of South 22nd Street remainclosed.

SEPTA said this morning that normal service has resumed on most bus routes that were detoured after the collapse. Routes 9, 31, 44, 48, 78, 124 and 125 are back to normal.

Route 7, however, continues to be detoured, the transit agency said.

SEPTA trolley routes 10, 11, 13, 34 and 36 have resumed service to 22nd Street Station. Trolleys had been bypassing the station since the collapse.
