Gas leak closes stretch of Route 611 in Montco

A stretch of Route 611 in Montgomery County is closed this morning due to a gas leak.

Route 611 (Easton Road) is shut down between Maryland and Fitzwatertown roads, according to Upper Moreland Township, so crews can repair the leak.

The approximately half-mile stretch is near Pennsylvania Turnpike exit 343 in Willow Grove.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and seek alternate routes.
