Police Thursday were seeking a masked gunman that fatally shot a 32-year-old clerk outside a convenience store in Burlington County.

Matthew Mwinsori, of Willingboro, was working at the Quick N Go in the 100 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Willingboro when he was shot about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said. He was pronounced dead about an hour later at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County.

Investigators said the suspect entered the store and then he and Mwinsori walked outside to the parking lot, where the shooting is believed to have occurred. Surveillance video shows the suspect, a black man in his 20s or 30s with a medium to heavy build, was wearing a black mask over the top part of his face, a light-colored hoodie under a blue-gray sweater or sweatshirt, and red sneakers.
