Two teen boys fatally shot in South Philly

Two 16-year-old boys were fatally shot Tuesday night in South Philadelphia, police said.

Just before 8:25 p.m. in the 2300 block of South 12th Street, both teens were shot once each in the chest. One victim was rushed by police to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and pronounced dead at 9:04. The second victim also was taken by police to Jefferson and was pronounced dead at 9:13.

Police reported no arrests or motive.
