Tyrell Wright, 30, of Germantown turned himself in to police in the shooting at a Northeast Target last week that left one man in the hospital.

Police said the shooting happened after the victim, a 29-year-old man, saw a fight outside the store between a friend of his and the suspect. The victim confronted Wright, who responded by taking out a handgun and firing at both, wounding the victim in the back.

The victim was taken in critical condition to Aria Health-Torresdale Campus. He remained there Monday in stable condition.
