Police release video of 2 men wanted in November fatal shooting in N. Philly

The victim, Brandon Baylor, 28, was shot several times. The alleged gunman was wearing a distinctive red jacket with blue sleeves.

Philadelphia police are seeking the public's help in identifying two men who are wanted in a fatal shooting last year in North Philadelphia.

They released video Monday of the two suspects in the Nov. 14 shooting that occurred about 4:10 p.m. in the 1900 block of North 25th Street.

The victim, Brandon Baylor, 28, of the city's Frankford section, suffered gunshot wounds to his chest and groin and was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterward.

The alleged gunman was described as black, tall, thin, and was wearing a black knit hat, a distinctive red jacket with blue shoulders and sleeves, blue jeans and athletic-type shoes, police said. His accomplice was described as black, of similar height but a slightly bigger build. He was wearing a black knit hat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants (possibly jeans) and black boots.

After the shooting, the two suspects fled in a black sedan, possibly a Ford Escort.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the police tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or the homicide division at 215-686-3334. As with all homicides, there is a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
