Man opens fire inside South Philly strip club

A woman was injured by shattered glass when a gunman opened fire inside of a South Philadelphia strip club early Sunday morning, according to police.

Around 3:51 a.m., a large fight broke out inside the vestibule at Club Onyx on the 2900 block of South Christopher Columbus Boulevard. Seconds after the fight, a man walked through the club's front door and fired a single shot from a 9mm handgun, hitting a second set of glass doors that lead to the floor of club, police said.

A 26-year-old woman was cut on her shoulder and calf by the shattering glass doors, but no other injuries were reported, according to authorities.

The gunman remains unidentified and on the run.
