Man killed outside Philly hookah lounge & seafood bar

A man was shot to death early Sunday morning outside of J&S Seafood Bar and Hookah Lounge in North Philadelphia, according to police.

Around 1 a.m., a fight inside of the seafood bar and lounge on the 2400 block of Germantown Avenue spilled out onto the street, police said. During the scuffle, an unknown individual opened fire and struck the 24-year-old victim several times.

The victim was taken by a private vehicle to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from multiple gunshots wounds at 1:41 a.m., police said. Authorities have not released his name pending family notification.

A motive and suspect in the case remain unknown.
