TRENTON - Gov. Christie on Wednesday pardoned a 61-year-old Philadelphia man who was convicted more than 40 years ago on robbery charges in Atlantic City, but who has recovered from the drug addiction that once consumed him.
A former Delaware County constable was charged Wednesday with theft after allegedly submitting $23,000 of false payment sheets to the county for work that was never performed, the District Attorney's Office announced.
OceanFirst Bank, of Toms River, N.J., bought Renault Winery Inc. Golf out of bankruptcy last week and will operate the Atlantic County facility under the new name, Tuscany Resort, while trying to sell it, the bank said.
