SEPTA train hits person in SW Philadelphia

The condition of the person, who was taken to a hospital, is not yet known.

A SEPTA Airport Line train struck and injured a person Monday in Southwest Philadelphia.

The incident occurred about 10 a.m. in the area of 58th Street and Woodland Avenue.

Details are sketchy, but officials said the injured person was taken to a hospital. The person's condition is not yet known.

SEPTA bused passengers to and from Philadelphia International Airport and 30th Street Station during the two hours service on the line was halted for the investigation.
