Father and son fight ends with shooting in Pottstown

A man was shot in a domestic altercation with his father late Tuesday afternoon in Montgomery County.

A man was shot in a domestic altercation with his father late Tuesday afternoon in Montgomery County, police said.

Just after 5 p.m., Pottstown police responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. They found Andrew Lee, whose age was not provided, with gunshot wounds to his upper body and right arm. He was transported by medical helicopter to Reading Hospital and was in surgery with life-threatening injuries Tuesday night.

His father, Joseph Lee, suffered a laceration to his hand and was taken by ambulance to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center for treatment.

The incident was under investigation and no charged had been filed, police said.
