Boy, 5, critical after hit by car in Mayfair

A 5-year-old boy was in critical but stable condition after being hit by a car Tuesday afternoon in the city's Mayfair section, police said.

The accident occurred just before 3:50 p.m. in the 7200 block of Revere Street. The boy was transported by medics to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.

The striking vehicle remained at the scene, police said.
