Woman stabbed at South Philadelphia employment agency

A woman is in critical condition after she was stabbed at an employment agency in South Philadelphia this morning.

Police said someone stabbed the 53-year-old woman multiple times in the chest at Trinity Staffing Services, located at 2340 S. Broad St.

The woman was able to walk nearby Methodist Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition, and was being transported to Jefferson University Hospital.

A weapon was recovered, police said, but no arrests were made.

No description of the suspect was available this afternoon.
